Greetings From The UK.

150 thousand tons of steel, makes this "War Canoe".
And yet tis perceived as "Freedom", by me and you.
Steel forms the vessel, but the ship is the crew.
So what is the concept?, what does it do?.

Tis a killing machine, designed to perfection.
Is this "Freedom" we ask?, perhaps not on reflection.
Providing a show of strength, for all to see.
Defends your freedom, protects your liberty.

Protects your "Freedom", ensures that well.
To others however, will be seen as hell.
Preventing dictators, is it’s prime use.
But threatening the weak, as Politicians abuse.

As Samuel Pepys, a very long time ago once said.
The difference between a Sailor & Prisoner, can be read.
A Sailor can drown, and so many do.
"Freedom" for many, at the expense of the few.

What of the crew, and it’s average age.
Tis 19 years old, and writing histories page.
No special breed, just normal men.
Trained to perfection, trained to defend.

When things get hot, Yes! they too are frightened.
A natural emotion, reactions to heighten.
You cannot be brave, unless you are scared.
Led by the older, & just see how well they faired.

So we should all form, our personal perceptions.
And when in the news, please add your reflections.
Your "Freedom" is there, but at who’s expense?.
Consider these men, they do not sit on the fence.

There is only one way to say

"I Love You".

But there are thousands of ways to demonstrate
