Are you chasing gold at a colourful rainbows end ?
A frustrating journey? for I will tell you my cynical friend
If this is the only goal you seek, you will surely fail
For your eyes are blind, as through life you sail.
Forever reaching for the next horizon so near?
But never actually getting there? for I do fear
That you fail to understand the true values in life
Leaving you with a fruitless journey, and much strife
This world is round, so you will never reach the other sides
Open your heart and observe the colours that she provides
This life's pathway should be travelled at a much slower pace
Taking the time to appreciate the radiant smile upon her face
To appreciate the warmth she freely gives, the pace must be slowed
Observing the sparkle within her eyes, helps to reduce life's load
Trust in my judgement, vision and the perception within me
For I will take your hand and ensure it is all that you do see
There is only one way to say
