Alcohol, and Drug Abuse
Personally, I have no use
But all around, for us to see
Are these drugs, abusing you and me
These substances, provide the pain
As people, search all in vain
Seeking, instant gratification
Instead of, genuine human elation
Sober up, and please get clean
Use your eyes, and please be seen
All around, your destructive wakes
The pain and anguish, your family takes
No one, ever found a life
Within a bottle, without causing strife
If I were god, I surely would
Change the chemistry, for the good
If to manufacture, it were not possible
The human race, would become hospitable
The world, would become a cleaner place
And you could look your family, in the face
No animal, behaves as such
With their pride, they say as much
With pride, tis easy to be so
For all you do, is say no
There is only one way to say
"I Love You "
But there are thousands of ways to demonstrate
