Dedicated to a very courageous lady
You were crying, when you picked up the phone.
You tried to hide, but it was an obvious
tone.
A very difficult day, it takes courage to proceed.
When
life deals a hand, pushing you down on your knees.
I understand your tears, so please let them flow.
Be not afraid, as
you let them show.
It is a natural safety valve, so just let it
blow.
Releasing the pressure, so onwards you can go.
You were angry it seems, at this life's deal.
And it is your
frustrations, I certainly feel.
I understand the panic, but you
must never yield.
And never accept, that your fate is
sealed.
I have no words, a difference to make.
But my
understanding and love, are certainly not fake.
I have a strong
desire, your courage to renew.
To provide you with energy, for
all that you do.
Because of days like this, when you
cry.
You can appreciate life's colours, if you really
try.
That old body of yours, requires a little more care.
So
give me more days, so that we might share.
The medical trade
can further help, just a bit.
Accepting the fact, that we
will never be fit.
But consider our past, lives certainly not
empty.
With an uncertain future, but with laughs a
plenty.
Tomorrow is a new day, with colours so bright.
So
absorb them within, as you continue your fight.
Enjoy each day,
rejoice in all that you see.
Be not afraid, to take strength from
me.
