this freedom, our men paid the ultimate price To survive this day, was but a
throw of the dice
Meticulous planning by an American, Eisenhower But
certain success, was never within his power Success was assured, by the power
of the serviceman As he took to these beaches, and forward he
ran
This was a day, for courage, sacrifice and grim
determination Not a time for liberals, with their procrastination's These
men combined, to achieve this amazing feat Knowing full well, the challenges

Juno With no regard for personal safety, as well we know Those who
survived, to show us the way Died a thousand times, and still do so
today
This courage, sweat, blood and pain Assured our future, and was
never in vain So take life for granted??, ... these freedoms must
last They were provided with love, ... by a generation past
