Now to obtain what you pay for, requires a fight?
To obtain delivery, within a time frame is so very hard.
Then Dell ships my computer, without a sound card.
Dreaming of the days, of paper, pen, and ink.
If you lost an address book, it could cause a stink.
But with a little thought, you knew where all reside.
Behind infernal "E" mail addresses, we did not hide.
Dreaming of the days, when I thought I understood all.
Could put my money in the box, and make that telephone call.
Now telephone numbers, are stored within a mobile phone.
The cell phone stolen, leaves you isolated and alone.
Dreaming of the days, when my body would do as it was told.
When medicals were a formality, I never expected to get old.
Days when doctors would treat me, with the utmost of respect.
Now the bits I never knew I had, breakdown, but what the heck!
Dreaming of today, when all within my vision I willingly share.
With you beside me, we show the world that we care.
These are the days your presence, I especially appreciate.
Specific human emotions, to which we all can relate.
