Mach zero point nine seven, and accelerating
An experience found, to be very exhilarating
Breaking this physical barrier, the speed of sound
Adrenaline surges, as your heart will pound.
Technology combined, with the endurance of man
Breaks through this barrier, so that all men can
Have visions of the wonders, found on the other side
Understanding the future, the facts we refuse to hide.
Human perception, and barriers more difficult to overcome
Very ably achieved, with the immense efforts of some
Colour, religion and cultural barriers continue to exist
Added together, they form a very long list.
Political differences, do not change the being
But occasionally will prevent us, from clearly seeing
Visions of the common goals, to which we all aspire
To raise the soul of humanity, higher and higher.
The generation barrier, often gets in the way
The sexual barrier, can still be seen this day
Are these barriers real, or falsely perceived
Misconceptions which, can be relieved.
Open your heart, to understanding and the acceptance of love
Understanding the difference, enables us all to rise above
With the advent of this forthcoming 2003 new year
End all these conflicts and in so doing, remove the fear.
There is only one way to say
"I Love You"
But there are thousands of ways to demonstrate
