This man knows little, of the modern world
Many events missed, as time unfurls
Too busy working, for all of his life
Providing all for family, and the wife

Rough and ready, behind the wheel
40 ton wagons, requires nerves of steel
Earned the hard way, all of his cash
But when younger, would cut a dash



Now at 80 years old, is super fit
And in his life, the artist is lit
Expert photographer, with one good eye
Enjoys this time, and that aint no lie



This man with hands, so rough and scarred
Creates sensitive paintings, and claims it aint hard
Water colours, the most difficult medium
Displays a gallery, so that others can see them



George senior, as now he is known
Has watched with pride, as his family has grown
This courageous man, who thinks no one is bad
Is very Special, because he is my dad



There is only one way to say
"I Love You "
But there are thousands of ways to demonstrate
