Steve................"The Old Sea Dog".................(retired)

Greetings From The UK...

And....Harewood House

Position the mouse to scroll

The Norman conquest, provided this estate
The spoils of war, this was not fate
Now a stately home, of a Duke and Duchess
Living a rich, quiet life, with any fuss

We do admire, as we walk on their lawn
Marvel at the landscape, this fresh spring morn
We have lots of fun, lost forever in their maze
You watch the fountains, into your eyes I gaze

Touch the trees, enjoy the water features
Eat the strawberries, share some peaches
Simply holding your hand, sharing a day
How I wish life was forever, always this way

The occupants of this estate, I envy not
Counting their resources, to see what they have got
For compared to me, throughout this week
They are poor by comparison, it was I you did seek

To hold your hand, as we walk this grass
Bestows a wealth of emotions, that will never pass
You gave me a life, as you showed you cared
For this was a time, we truly shared

Tis beyond belief, you have enriched my soul
Touched my heart, providing an ambitious goal
To spend each hour of each and every day
With a love so strong, let me show the way

There is only one way to say.....

"I Love You"...

But there are thousands of ways to demonstrate...
